The Ministry of Education has launched NIPUN “(National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Bharat Scheme.”
With this vision, the Government of India launched the National Mission on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy on 5th July, 2021 to attain its objectives by 2026-27.
FLN refers to a child’s ability to read with meaning and solve basic maths problems by class 3. These are
crucial basic skills that helps them to succeed in life.
