A well-equipped and well-managed school library is crucial for fostering a love of reading and supporting students’ educational development.
A library is where people borrow books, check out magazines, and search for information. Libraries are essential because they provide access to knowledge that people might not find elsewhere. In addition, libraries serve as community centres, providing social interaction and learning opportunities.

Kendriya Vidyalaya MCL Jagannath Area is excited to announce that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has integrated the Rastriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP) and National Digital Library (NDL) into our schools.
ReP is a FREE digital library with over 3000 titles in many Indian languages! Here’s what’s cool about ReP:
– You can access it via the school website.
– There’s an app for Android, iOS, and web too!
– We’ll be doing fun activities like reading sessions and story-telling based on ReP content.
